

Fire hazard levels
Current Fire Hazard Level - HIGH- Clearwater County & the Rocky Mountain House Forestry Area is currently under a fire restriction. Safe campfires are approved only on private land and in Campgrounds only in an approved fire pit. Keep fires low and have a water source close by also a grate and lid is a must.
ATV access gate closure
The land bordering north of the campground is a grazing lease with cattle grazing. This grazing lease is Government owned and grazing lease holders only have the obligation to grant foot access to the public. The current grazing lease holder has allowed our tenants access to pass through onto Crown Land for ATV riding. The past few months the access gate has been locked by us due to muddy conditions and the mud being tracked onto our roads. We close this access gate each y
Bear sightings - June 14, 2021
We have had reported sightings of a young black bear. Hopefully he is just passing through but please be cautious and use safety precautions when camping. Most importantly is too keep food and garbage locked up tight. When you are in the wilderness make noise to warn wildlife of your presence, have bear spray available and supervise children and pets when outside. Don't burn us out
Please keep your fires low and safe. Use a metal cover when not on attendance at your campfire and a metal grate during windy & dry conditions. Don't forget to extinguish completely with water, stir and water again before leaving. Clear Springs must be able to see your fire pit area from the road to ensure it is a safe fire or the fire is completely extinguished. COVID 19 - tenants - June 1, 2021
Dear tenants Here we are again, writing further updates on Covid 19. Out door group gatherings are now set to 10 people including children. No indoor gatherings are allowed. There is an update on our news page. Booking guests are required to read and sign our Covid 19 sheet. Tenants are responsible to ensure safety of their guests while following our Covid rules. Hello and welcome back; we are taking reservations but unfortunately we are almost completely booked through July and August. Around the COVID 19 situation we have updated our rules and requirements to safely operate.
